From the CUB Elections Committee
As the duly appointed Elections Committee, and following the CUB Constitution as amended Article IV, Section 7, since all candidates for offices ran unopposed, there will be no secret ballot election and instead will be done by acclamation.
The CUB Constitution was amended by the membership September 2019. The amended section reads:
"Except in cases where nominees for elective positions are unopposed and no contest exists for the membership to cast a deciding vote, ballots shall be prepared and mailed to each member in good standing within 15 days following the nomination meeting."
This amendment permits the Elections Committee to present Uncontested Nominees to the Secretary for appointment to the respective elected position by acclamation, in lieu of secret ballot election, as is consistent with Roberts Rules of Order Rule Newly Revised, eleventh edition, at 443.
The elections committee will present the following nominees for acclamation to the CUB Secretary at the next CUB board meeting, Wednesday September 16, 2026:
