Trying to access AFT Member Benefits? You may need to know your 5-digit Local Number and your AFT Membership ID number. Both are listed on your membership card. If you can't find your card, you can use the member ID lookup tool from AFT by visiting members.aft.org/members/lookup. If you're not sure of your local number, see a list of AFT-Maryland affiliates at md.aft.org/local-sites.

Most businesses will not ask for your personal information, such as PIN numbers or passcodes, via text, email, or phone call. Please do not respond to any malicious and unsolicited requests that appear to be from banking institutions, the IRS, mortgage companies, medical providers, etc.

The Free College Benefit Covers Amounts For Tuition, Fees Or E-Books That Are Not Covered By Federal Or Employer Education Grants. Family of Union Plus members are defined as children (or stepchildren), grandchildren (or step-grandchildren), spouses, domestic partners, financial dependents, siblings and parents.

Important notice: Unemployed, furloughed, and laid off union workers and their extended family are also eligible to enroll in Free College. The interested student should complete an inquiry form and follow the enrollment steps.
