Ratification Meeting for BCPS Employees

Ratification Meeting for Baltimore City Public School Employees will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2020, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the City Union of Baltimore Headquarters, 2117 N. Howard St. in Baltimore (Do Not Park on the Save-a-Lot parking lot). This meeting is for CUB members only. Notices were mailed to members on 1/24/2020.

There will be a RATIFICATION MEETING for BALTIMORE CITY EMPLOYEES on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the City Union of Baltimore, 2117 N Howard Street.

Meeting is for CUB MEMBERS ONLY. Notices were mailed to members.

Jump Start January Better Health Symposium

Looking to improve the New Year? Come and join Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young to launch the 20/20 Inaugural Initiative. With Support from the Department of Human Resources Wellness Program and the Office of the Labor Commissioner, monthly activities are planned to help employees with personal and professional goals. Jump Start January Better Health Symposium will kick-off the monthly series presented by Mayor Young and also featuring guest speaker and fitness expert, Laurent Amzallag. There will be vendors on site from various healthcare companies and wellness programs too.

Property Tax Credit Press Conference

Low wage earners who work for Baltimore city will get a boost to owning homes in the city thanks to the work of the City Union of Baltimore. The union worked with elected officials to get a property tax credit through the General Assembly and now it has been introduced at the local level.

City Union of Baltimore announces their Annual Holiday Celebration, to be held Friday, December 6, 2019, 8:00 p.m. to midnight, at The Champagne Room, 2701 W Patapsco Avenue, Baltimore MD 21230. Member tickets are $25.00 + 5 non-expired nonperishable items.
