In accordance with the CUB Constitution and By-laws, Article 1, Section 1, this is to inform you of the increase in Per-Capita* (pass-through) tax since 2007 in the amount of six dollars and fifty-three cents ($6.53) per month. This pass-through increases were voted on at the 2008, 2010, 2014 American Federation of Teachers (AFT) National Convention and the AFT-Maryland Constitutional Convention in 2009 and 2013. The increases were not passed on according to the Constitution. You will be charged the pass-through increase of $2.92 two dollars ninety-two effective January 1, 2015. The new rates are listed below.
