The City of Baltimore has extended the Healthcare Open Enrollment Period to Nov 23, 2020.

The Open Enrollment deadline has been extended! Employees must log in to Workday to validate current benefits and make any updates before Open Enrollment ends on November 23. Please see the newsletter for more information.

AFT President Randi Weingarten says the union’s leaders and members “can’t wait to get started” on the work ahead “with an administration that will embrace and fight for the values we hold dear.”

CUB Sick Leave Bank Donations
The Baltimore City Office of the Labor Commissioner grants each CUB employee the opportunity to donate 1-day of sick leave into the Sick Leave Bank each year. As a CUB employee you will also have the opportunity to apply to use sick leave from this Sick Leave Bank in the event of an emergency.
As you are aware, because of the COVID-19 Pandemic most City offices are teleworking. Therefore, we are asking that you email your HR Department by Monday, November 9, 2020 at 3pm and acknowledge your intent to participate or to deny participation in the Sick Leave Bank.
Thanks for your prompt attention and assistance in this matter. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your HR Manager via email. Please note that your Timekeeper may also ask/have you verify your sick bank donation as well.
